Causeway Geotech add second jack-up barge to fleet

We are pleased to announce that Causeway Geotech have further expanded our nearshore marine ground investigation capabilities through the acquisition of a second jack-up barge. This addition to our fleet is equipped with 36m legs and has a deck area of some 17m x 24m. This jack-up is an ideal partner to our smaller unit, Causeway Giant 1 and allows us to work in deeper water conditions.

The acquisition of this asset is part of the Company’s continued strategy of investment in plant and machinery, with a particular focus on the marine sector.

She has been put straight to work at a site in the Humber Estuary, and has a busy schedule for the foreseeable future.
